Daniel was born on 20 February 2007, 12 weeks early weighing just 2lb 4 oz. He was in hospital for 11 weeks and 2 days before we finally got him home. There had been many ups and downs during that time, but he kept fighting and growing. He weighed 6lb 9oz when he died on 3 June 2007 We were just getting him settled into a lovely routine before tragedy struck. Daniel had died of cot death and just slipped away in his sleep. We awoke to find him in his moses basket not breathing, the ambulance crew and hospital staff tried heroically to save him, but to no avail.
